The Black Olive Restaurant - Longford

The proprietor of The Black Olive is Fiona O'Keefe who brings a very experienced hand to her lovely restaurant. Having worked in the a 5-Star hotel as Manager in London - and in many top restuarants in Ireland - she decided to open the 'Black Olive' in 1997 when she relocated to Longford with her family.

Fiona is very much a hands-on proprietor ensuring the needs of all her customers are met. You can be assured of first class service when you choose this lovely restaurant as your next dinner venue in Longford.

Our head chef, Paul Horohoe, lives in Lanesboro just outside Longford town.. He has worked in many top restaurants around Ireland for the past twelve years and brings his own style to our European menu.

With a particular interest and flair for fish dishes, he brings an experienced hand to The Black Olive and makes our menu unique and a big part of what we are. His continued support of local suppliers ensures he only uses the best ingredients in the Black Olive Restaurant.

We are delighted to have the very experienced Monica Zinkute as our Head Waitress. She has workind in the catering business for many years and is assisted in the Black Olive by Sharon Feeney & Alison Kenny who will assist you in your choice of fare & wine.
